Natalia Leliyukh, one of the most well-known gynecologists in Ukraine, is coming to Chisinau

Women’s health is increasingly influenced by trends, myths, and conflicting information, which makes the voice of doctors practicing evidence-based medicine essential. One of these voices is Natalia Leliyukh, one of the most well-known obstetrician-gynecologists in Ukraine, with more than two decades of experience in women’s health.

Born on January 3, 1974, in the city of Nizhyn, Chernihiv region, Natalia Leliyukh graduated in 1999 from the A.A. Bogomolets National Medical University in Kyiv, where she obtained her qualification as an obstetrician-gynecologist. She later strengthened her expertise through specialization in ultrasound diagnostics, while her professional activity was continuously complemented by certifications and periodic evaluations. She is internationally certified by the Fetal Medicine Foundation in prenatal diagnostics and holds the highest medical qualification category, obtained in 2015.

Her medical career began at Maternity Hospital No. 5 in Kyiv, where she worked from 1999 to 2012. At the same time, she also worked at the Dobrobut Medical Center, one of the best-known in Ukraine. Between 2012 and 2016, she was an obstetrician-gynecologist and specialist in perinatal diagnostics at the Oberig Clinic, and later headed the gynecological consultation department of the Saint Paraskeva Medical Center in Kyiv. From 2023 to the present, Natalia Leliyukh has been the head of the gynecological consultations department at the RID Reproductive Medicine Clinic, one of the leading institutions in this field.

In 2013, the doctor launched the “Women’s Club with Natalia Leliyukh,” a platform for dialogue and education that quickly expanded beyond the borders of Ukraine, reaching Poland, Sweden, Moldova, and Portugal. Here, women do not simply receive information - they learn how to ask questions, understand their bodies, and make informed decisions about their health.

“My mission is to change the way women understand their health. When awareness exists, the right decisions follow,” the doctor said in an interview.

As the author of three books dedicated to women’s health, Natalia Leliyukh succeeds in translating medicine into accessible language without diminishing its complexity. She speaks about hormones, fertility, menopause, and balance not as abstract concepts, but as realities that directly influence every woman’s life.

Her style is direct, sometimes uncomfortable, but always necessary. The doctor openly challenges myths that still persist in society - from the idea that a woman must “eat for two” during pregnancy to the belief that all weight problems are caused by hormones. In their place, she proposes a clear-headed approach based on evidence and individual responsibility.
